Shelmet 093/086 & Accelgor 094/086 Black Bolt AR JPN Pokémon

A brilliant Shelmet and Accelgor Art Rare evolution pair from Japanese Black Bolt, with two artworks that feel completely different while still telling the story of the Pokémon.

Shelmet 093/086 shows the little Pokémon exploring a cluttered garden at night, surrounded by plants, pipes and discarded objects. There are loads of tiny details hidden throughout the scene, giving it that almost storybook feel where you notice something different each time you look at it.

Then comes Accelgor 094/086, and the mood changes completely. Accelgor sits high amongst the trees, wrapped in shadow with only the opening in the forest illuminating it. It perfectly suits the Pokémon's ninja-like design — quiet, concealed and watching from above.

Displayed together, the cards make a great little before-and-after evolution set: Shelmet wandering around at ground level before evolving into the far more mysterious and agile Accelgor.

A particularly nice pair for collectors who enjoy connecting Art Rares by evolution line rather than collecting individual cards on their own.
