Starly 090/078 – Scarlet ex – Art Rare – Japanese Pokémon

One Starly would have been cute enough… this card decided to give us the whole flock.

This beautiful Starly Art Rare from Scarlet ex shows a group of Starly happily gathering amongst fruit-covered branches in a peaceful countryside setting. Some are eating, some are watching, others are flying in to join the group — and there are little Starly tucked throughout the artwork that you don't necessarily notice at first glance.

The red fruit against the greens and natural earthy tones gives the artwork a lovely warm feel, while the distant landscape makes the scene feel much bigger than the card itself.

It also fits Starly perfectly. They're known for travelling together in large flocks, and rather than trying to make this little Pokémon look fierce, the artwork leans completely into its social, slightly chaotic personality.

A really charming slice-of-life Pokémon artwork and exactly the sort of Art Rare that looks even better sitting amongst a full binder page.
