Wo-Chien ex 257/193 SIR – Paldea Evolved Pokémon

One of those cards where the artwork completely sells the Pokémon.

Wo-Chien sits deep within an ancient, overgrown forest, surrounded by twisted roots, huge trees and almost no open sky. Rather than making Wo-Chien dominate the artwork, it sits further back in the scene, making the forest itself feel enormous — and Wo-Chien feel like something ancient that has been quietly living there for centuries.

The dark greens, heavy shadows and tiny flecks of light give the card a genuinely mysterious atmosphere, while the textured foil really comes alive across the roots and vegetation when it catches the light.

And being one of the Treasures of Ruin, that darker, almost unsettling feel suits Wo-Chien perfectly. It doesn't need an action pose — it just looks like you've wandered somewhere you probably weren't supposed to.
